Dr. Vengetesh holds an MBBS degree, as well as an MS in General Surgery and an MCh in Urology as his qualifications. He excelled in academics, winning medals and distinctions for his performance. He was selected for the prestigious international travel fellowship by the Urological Society of India for attending the British Association of Urological Surgeons Annual Conference in Manchester, UK, in June 2010. He has also obtained the title of Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (MRCS).
Besides having considerable exposure in the diagnosis and management of emergency and elective (minor and major) surgical problems during his three-year training in general surgery, Dr. Vengetesh Sengottayan has a special interest in endourological procedures and the challenges they offer. He is attached to prominent hospitals in Coimbatore, performing all major urological procedures independently. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis and participating in general quiz programmes.

Dr. Vengetesh K Sengottayan is a Consultant Urologist in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He is attached to the G Kuppuswamy Hospital and is also available for consultation at the Uro-Gynaec Care Clinic - Dr. Sengottayan Hospital in Coimbatore.
